How to use
Microwave
Heat the wheat bag for ca. 60 sec at 600W (reduce the time for higher watt level) in a CLEAN microwave.
Oven
Ca. 100°C for 10 min. Remains warm for ca. 30-40 min.
Freezer
Place the wheat bag in a freezer for 1-3 hours. Remains cold for ca. 30 min
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the doll be placed into the microwave or freezer?
No. Remember to remove the wheat bag from inside the doll before you heat or cool the wheat bag. The dolls don’t like to be microwaved or frozen.
Are they scented?
The Rubens Tummies wheat bags are not scented and so have a neutral smell. However, you can choose to apply scents if you wish to do so.
Can you buy the wheat bag separately?
From the end of September, we will be selling extra wheat bags as a separate product for the Rubens Tummies dolls.
What materials are the dolls made of?
Just like the EcoBuds, Rubens Tummies are made of OCS (Organic Content Standard) organic cotton. They are filled with GRS (Global Recycled Standard) recycled PET stuffing and their tummies contain weighted wheat bags.
Can the wheat bag only be heated in the microwave?
The wheat bags in the Rubens Tummies dolls can also be heated in the oven for 10 min at 100°C. After this the bag remains warm for about 30 minutes.
